Since 2009, the Raglan Film Festival has been running to celebrate the achievements of local Raglan Whaingaroa film-makers and actors. The film festival week provides an opportunity for local community film makers to showcase their films on the big screen here in Whaingaroa. The week ends with our highly anticipated Raglan Arts Film Festival Awards (RAFFA) evening – a red carpet awards evening held at the Raglan Town Hall to celebrate our film makers on Saturday 25^th May.   The Raglan Film Festival week opens Thursday 16^th May with a selection of locally made films and movies screening.
