Raglan Film Festival Early Bird Entry and the winner is…..

Friday 1st December was the official date for the Raglan Film Festival entries for Tamariki and Rangitahi to submit their film entry to be in the running for the early bird cash prize of $50.
A total of 9 films were eligible for the $50 prize draw. (Initial expressions of interest closed 27 October with 40 film entry submissions received – 15 Tamariki, 15 Rangitahi and 10 in the open categories.)

Congratulations to winner of the $50 cash prize Adriana Neild-Cooksley, from Raglan Area School with her short experimental film titled ‘Fishes’, a cute tik-tok style film made with paper creations. Adriana’s film is part of a collective with support crew Ngahina Hounuku-Paekau. Teacher Briar Heinrich who has been providing support to RAS students says “It’s great that this little film, even though its short and sweet, won the early bird prize draw”.
